With just over two weeks to become until Election Day, Firm Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-California) has placed a deadline on stimulus-check negotiations, requiring the Trump administration to hold to a deal by the cease of the day Tuesday, Oct. 20 to ensure a beak can exist passed by Nov. 3.

In a television interview on Lord's day (October. 18), Pelosi said that consensus must be reached within 48 hours if lawmakers are to finalize and vote on a beak ahead of Election Day. As the Washington Post reports, Democrats and the White House are further autonomously on the specifics of the bill than on the full dollar amount.
